Teen singing sensation Miley Cyrus earned a whopping $18.2 million in 2007, but she has a ways to go to catch daytime talk queen Oprah Winfrey, who raked in a cool $260 million, according to the upcoming annual 'What People Earn' issue of Parade magazine.
The salary survey compared the earnings of 18 celebrities and 112 "regular" people who participated.
According to the survey, Dr. Phil McGraw earned $90 million; "American Idol" host Ryan Seacrest earned $12 million; and "Today" show host Meredith Vieira earned $10 million, as did comedian Jeff Foxworthy.
Other celebs who cashed in last year include Katherine Heigl ($11 million), Jessica Alba, ($9 million), Steven Spielberg ($110 million), Mary-Kate Olsen ($17 million), Gisele Bundchen ($33 million), Scarlett Johansson ($5 million), New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning ($11.5 million), rapper 50 Cent ($33 million) and Carrie Underwood ($7 million).
The highest-paid person on the list is 52-year-old hedge fund manager John Paulson, who earned an incredible $3.5 billion last year. The lowest-salaried person in the survey is 26-year-old Peace Corp volunteer Edward Perry, who made $2,900.
