Osama Bin Laden and Europe

It seems that the anti-war bigots in Europe had better not sleep so well in their assumed ideological superiority after all. The one called Osama Bin Laden has just damned them for publishing the pictures of the prophet Muhammad. According to Bin Laden:

''Your publications of these drawings - part of a new crusade in which the Pope of the Vatican had a significant role - is a confirmation from you that the war continues,'' said the Saudi-born militant leader in a message addressed to ''those who are wise at the European Union''.

''You are testing Muslims ... the answer will be what you shall see and not what you hear. May our mothers lose us to death if we did not rise in defence of the messenger of God ...''

The message, produced by al-Qaeda media arm as-Sahab, coincides with the fifth anniversary of the US-led invasion of Iraq, but bin Laden did not make any mention of the anniversary.

It appeared on a militant website that has carried al-Qaeda statements in the past and bore the logo of as-Sahab, and showed a still image of bin Laden aiming an AK-47, the Associated Press reported.

Bin Laden said the publication of the cartoons was a graver offence than the ''bombing of modest villages that collapsed over our women children''.

''This is the bigger catastrophe and the more dangerous one and for which the punishment is graver.''

While Americans risk their lives in the theater of war, Europe is creating more recruits among Al Queda with their cartoon antics. I sure feel confident with them as allies and willing soldiers. :-/
